I thought I remembered seeing a link at another msg board, about tire size + offset fitments on stock fenders. I'm thinking 15x7's, with +23mm offset and 205/50/15's? what about 225's? Wonder if they will fit. I am hoping I win some old BBS's that are 15x7's on ebay, and want to see what size tires I can find for them. thanks!

There's no way you are going to get 23mm offset 7x15 in there completely stock.
The 911R rims that are the factory way for narrow-body 911 are 49mm offset. The 911R wheels would stick out 1/2" farther than stock, and the 23mm offset would be out another 1" more. If you don't want to mess with your fenders you could choose another later porsche rim that would fit with spacers. Mark S. '70 914-6 6" cookie cutters when AX |
