Seems like the main engine case bolts and nuts are heavily glued to the case.
The case is supposed to never have been opened since Wolfsburg so I guess they did this at factory to seal it from oil leaks?

A good indicator of whether it's been opened is if it's got all the nuts with the red seals on the other side. Like this sort of

Yes these nuts are used and with glue aswell.
