sorry about stealing the pic but it gave me an idea. Can you give me a dimension between the hood and thetop of the headlight cover? Where the cup is. I was thinking of a recessed headlight in that area.

How about this: Headlight cover is still motorized, but rather than popping the headlights up, the cover moves down to the position shown in the pic. The headlight itself is fixed in the area right behind the cover.
That way, when the lights are off, there is no visible difference from stock. |
