Ok, I'm stumped. Changed the fuel lines in the tunnel with steel brake lines, new high pressure rubber lines everywehre else. Car wouldn't start. switched the two hoses in engine bay. Car runs, but has very high fuel pressure. adjustment at regulator makes no difference. Switched with known good regulator. no difference. What the heck did I do wrong?

Demick, that is what I'm not sure about. Here is what I have. Line from tank filter goes to fuel filter, fuel pump, then to engine compartment to regulator and drivers side fuel rail, to passenger side fuel rail, back to tank. Return is plumbed to the port on the tank that is minus the screen.
