sorry about stealing the pic but it gave me an idea. Can you give me a dimension between the hood and thetop of the headlight cover? Where the cup is. I was thinking of a recessed headlight in that area.

How about motorcycle headlights. I doubt that they are uniquely smaller but they might be.
QUOTE I just measured it and there is about 3 1/4" at the outer edge and 3 3/4" at the inner. That's free space below the lid. I think it would be cool if the cover swung down at the back to expose the headlights. There must be something already available that could be fit into the space. I know I've seen other cars using a similar shape. 300ZX comes to mind for one. If I'm not mistaken Dave Cafro already has something like this on his 914. So it's seems like a 3" light might work it that opening. |
