Ok, I'm stumped. Changed the fuel lines in the tunnel with steel brake lines, new high pressure rubber lines everywehre else. Car wouldn't start. switched the two hoses in engine bay. Car runs, but has very high fuel pressure. adjustment at regulator makes no difference. Switched with known good regulator. no difference. What the heck did I do wrong?
Thanks in advance. 75 2.0 djet |

Success! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mueba.gif) After a good night sleep, I woke at 5:00 this morning, pulled the tank, set it on top of it's hole, fired it up, and adjusted the pressure to 29. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) I swore there were no kinks in the return line, but I guess I was wrong. Now all I have to do is get it back together without kinking the line. Thanks Airsix, Andy, and Demick. Once again, this board comes to the rescue. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) Sorry Brad, guess we don't need no stinking pictures (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
