Ok, I'm stumped. Changed the fuel lines in the tunnel with steel brake lines, new high pressure rubber lines everywehre else. Car wouldn't start. switched the two hoses in engine bay. Car runs, but has very high fuel pressure. adjustment at regulator makes no difference. Switched with known good regulator. no difference. What the heck did I do wrong?

I should have added that last time I was in there I put a 90-degree brass elbow in the middle of the rubber return line under the tank where it was trying to kink.
