I know this car was talked about before but I have a question. In the June issue of excellence there is a story on a slightly modified 75 914. One of the things done was to remove the backpad and just use black carpet behind the seats. From the magazine photo I can't really tell if I like it or not. Has anyone here done this? Got pics?

I used DynaMat Extreme on both sides of my firewall. Much better, and keeps it a little cooler as well. I was a little concerned about the weight, but the whole box only wieghed 20 pounds, and I used about half. Little pricey, but worth it.

Do you have any pics of the install? I'm thinking of putting some on the engine compartment side to replace the rubber mat, but I can't tell if it'll look ok or not just visualizing it.
