GM is simply better at finding investors than your small business(es).
They convinced Uncle Sam that they were a worthwhile investment. Lo and behold, not only was a deeper recession/depression averted, but GM turned out some quality products and Uncle Sam made money on the investment. I'd much rather see my tax dollars used this way - heck, they earned a positive return - than used to subsidize the world's most profitable industry. ILBT (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) |
