Took my 914 in was not idling and misses out under load, seems fuel starved. My mechanic said he was surprised it had hydraulic lifters. Is that non standard? Did someone try that to not have to adjust them perhaps? I am guessing I need to change back if so.
Thanks! |

solid lifters were stock and made more power, but are more noisy and require adjust , and I had hell-of-a-time getting my hydro ones finally dialed in. If I had a chance to do it over (and I may someday) I would like to go back to solid lifters and stock PR.
