Hi guys,
I'm rarely in town for New Year's Day, but we have a local group here that does a fun "rally." It's more of a scenic drive through Washington County, Md. and adjoining counties/states. Last year they had a couple of 911s, but there are usually some really cool old cars with their wonderful sights and smells. Anyhoo, the group is meeting at 10:30 AM at Long Meadow Shopping Center in Hagerstown. Wetehr is projected to be 50 degrees. (Nope, not riding the Ninja for this. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ) Any questions, PM me. Text from the e-mail invitation follows. QUOTE It's hard to believe, but this year will be our 10th year anniversary run. What started as a random get together has become a holiday tradition! Our route is in the works, but probably something similar to our inaugural run from Hagersbush down through the battlefield and to Harper's Ferry. Who can forget the dive restaurant by the river with plenty of parking?! Meeting time will be around 10:30AM at Long Meadow Shopping Center with a planned start of 11:00. I'll check to see if Port City Java is open as they were last year. Weather should be decent. |
