I remember when 1 out of every 2 914s had a little spoiler sitting on the rear trunk. Now I only see them on teener racers. Is it too high of a poser factor, totally unkuhl, a fashion trend, instigated by aliens from Mars?

They are like the mullet. Cool in the 80's but now.....not so much.
