Hi All, A newbie here, happy to get hands dirty but a bit overwhelmed by the general troubleshooting tips I've found for the D-Jet. Hoping for something specific before I have to start tearing the whole thing apart.
Turn the key and it catches right away but dies within seconds; various mindless impulsive pedal pumping strategies seem to make only the slightest difference. Am tempted to present some history, but it's short (< 2yrs) and very complicated. Thanks Claude B |

A bad ignition switch could cause your symptom.
Try to start it and look at the gauges. Is there power to the gauges and idiot lights when the key is in the run position after releasing the starter? |
