Hi all,
wanted to post some of my latest illustrations that I've done for folks. I have gotten several pm's from members here asking about the price of a custom peice. So as not to anger the mods I've posted the pricing in the memorabilia section here: But it boils down to a little more than minimum wage. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=190345 I currently have 2 cars in the cue, a 350z, and a 57 Chevy, so it will be first come first serve and each illustration takes between 25-30hrs. Enjoy and thanks for looking. 07 911 CS ![]() 73 914 1.7 ![]() 74 914 STI 2.0 ![]() 12 CTSV ![]() 73 Firebird ![]() 68 Firebird ![]() 67 Cutlass ![]() ChuckC |

thanks for the kind words fellas,
what is needed: several high res photos are best. I'll use the '12 CSTV as an example. The wife of the owner had it done as a gift for her husband. She sent me about 14 high res photos via "drop box". Several of those were shots of the whole car from multiple angles and the rest were details of the wheels, lights etc. I choce the following as the main reference photo. ![]() I used in total 5 reference images for contour, color and lighting, and other details like the brakes, wheels, grill and lights. size: The finished illustrations are designed at 20x16 inches, 900dpi and around a 1gig. It could print out at 60x48 and still be a pretty descent quality. But if you wanted it printed on a skateboard, for example, we could design it appropriately. I maintain rights to the artwork itself and keep the digital file so if you want decide later you want it printed on a mug, poster or what ever I can send the artwork to the printer and you can pay them directly. t-shirt: there are several ways to go about printing on a t-shirt. Via silkscreen you pay by the color so the artwork must be simplified and a 1 off could get expensive. Another way is send it to a place that basically does a fancy iron on; this is better suited for the complexity of these illustration and also more affordable when only printing a couple shirts. did I miss anything? thanks again for showing an interest. peace, Chuck |
