Hi there,
I'm looking for any informations about matching numbers of my 914 wrecks (hoping to bring them back to life someday). Can anybody tell me anything about those 914/4s (especially what kind of options and proper engine sizes they should have): - 4732911270 /USA version(orginal color light green - 1973/USA version) (i belive its a 2.0 but the sticker in front luggage compartment says to fill the fuel tank with 98 octan fuel for VW1700 engine so probably this is a car with swapped engine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) ), Karmann VIN 0129508 - 4722900674 /USA version - (1972 original color probably red),engine with d-jetronic with ECU number 022906021E / 0280000037 - i belive it will be 1.7 engine. - 4752907154 /USA version (1975) - has an engine number GC002024 (most probably vin+eng.number = matching so its 2.0),original color orange or orange metallic, Chassis number 511-9019 Will be in couple days to read all karmann/engine numbers so i will write more info. |

Your best source of data is Porsche. Certificate of Authenticity are availab;e for every model, though they may ne "not exact" or nebulus in some instances (records for 914's apparently were deemed to be inconsequential).
Good luck |
