Hi there,

I'm looking for any informations about matching numbers of my 914 wrecks (hoping to bring them back to life someday). Can anybody tell me anything about those 914/4s (especially what kind of options and proper engine sizes they should have):

- 4732911270 /USA version(orginal color light green - 1973/USA version) (i belive its a 2.0 but the sticker in front luggage compartment says to fill the fuel tank with 98 octan fuel for VW1700 engine so probably this is a car with swapped engine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) ), Karmann VIN 0129508

- 4722900674 /USA version - (1972 original color probably red),engine with d-jetronic with ECU number 022906021E / 0280000037 - i belive it will be 1.7 engine.

- 4752907154 /USA version (1975) - has an engine number GC002024 (most probably vin+eng.number = matching so its 2.0),original color orange or orange metallic, Chassis number 511-9019

Will be in couple days to read all karmann/engine numbers so i will write more info.

Yes i know about COA but it costs 120$ x 3 ...i could spend this money more properly (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif). Is there any other way to check matching numbers?

PS: is it d-jet 1.7 engine?(just to confirm becouse I dont remember if i have checked engine's numbers or not)
