What's the difference between 911 and 914 control arms. I bought my car as a basket case and it didn't have any torsion bars and the ones from my parts car don't fit

I believe the main incompatibility is that the 911 and 914-6 arms have a 30-tooth spline pattern and work only with torsion bars with that number of teeth, while the 914-4 arms and torsion bars have a 29-tooth spline. Don't ask me why, that's just the way the factory did it.
