I need to get my /6 3.0L oil cooler modified with an AN or NTP fitting. Being that my oil tank is NPT - I would think that putting a 1" NPT fitting on the oil cooler is the way to go. But I see some people say they used -16 AN.
Does it really matter what type of fitting to use for this application? Thanks. |

Fitting type doesn't really matter. Given the option, I would pick AN fittings over NPT because they have the tendency to seal better and do not require swivel ends.
