I preparation for getting my car painted I want to invite my friends over for the teardown. We can probably do this rain or shine, but the best day coming up is looking like November 25th. But since that's the weekend after Thanksgiving, I don't know if that's problematic for people. This coming Sunday is out. Dec 2 is my birthday (although that could be a fun birthday present (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) ).
Nov 25 - Rain or Shine - 8am to 4pm (or whenever) Burgers will be provided, anything else you want to bring/share is up to you. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Things to do (edited as I think of them): 1. Remove drivetrain. 2. Remove rear window. 3. Remove windshield. 4. Empty front trunk. 5. Pull wiring harness (partially). 6. Remove lights/rockers/valences/bumpers. 7. Weld up side markers. 8. Weld up hood badge holes. |

Great! Extra thumbs. Not sure what we will do with them but... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) From my own experience, smash them with hammers, jam them into heavy solid objects, take the skin off them with power tools, or get them caught in between two pieces of metal that are being pressed together... --DD |
