Hi All ...... HEEEELLLLPPPP!!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

I'm trying to wrap up the exterior portion of our `88 Westy's resto/refurb repaint, and am having trouble finding a "very nice to excellent" or NOS flexible front Air Dam used on the `88-91 FG bumpered Vanagons & Westies.

Everything I see is pretty buggered up - especially at the front corners, but maybe some of you Vanagon/Westy/Subie-gon owners out there have a nice air dam that you took off one of yours, which you'd part with???? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

If so, then please see my appropriately placed non-914 WTB ad with pix in the classifieds here:

Tom - I just inquired on the condition of this one. Haven't heard back. I'll let you know, or you can contact him direct.

Thanx Marc, I just used my picasa viewer to enlarge the photos of the front L & R at his ad, and that one has the usual bunged up corners. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Please keep your eyes out for me folks! TIA (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

And Geez! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
- Looking at that Vanagon at Marc's link, & it being 2 years newer than ours (88 vs 90) - I guess ours was a very good looking 10 or 20-footer even before repainting it! The pix below are of the original factory paint from an early 88 build date - as of last May 2012, but the top & below the rear hatch had been repainted in May 2007.

^ I was doing some rock chip touch-up (white dots on front end/etc.) before this, when my wife got clipped on the LF corner (damage in bottom pic), which pushed the Wety's repaint/resto in front of my 914 ..... again! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
