Looking at quick release hubs and wondering what experience all y'all have had. I've read some install threads on the cheapy eBay hubs but really couldn't find any long term threads to see how loose they got over time.

Hubs I'm looking at:

Rothsport $395 (cough, cough... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif))

Snap-Off $189

LTB Motorsport $135

I've had the Tekniq's unit in my car for 6-7 years now.

It allows the full use of the horn. It's worked as good as could be expected. no issues o tell. It stay's put, and is tight when installed.

As for why you would want a removable wheel??

Well for me, it is almost impossible to get out of the car given the fixed position of my Sparco seats, coupled with the steering wheel diameter.

With the Tekniq, in and out is comfortable and quick.

Ron, right, sorry, I have a full cage and containment seats. I'm flexible enough to get in and out with no problem but God forbid I have an incident where I can't get out the "normal" way.
