I bought my car used and it is missing the passenger's door pull support underneath the pull handle grip. I want to buy a good used correct one to install but I don't know what is correct. My car was made in April of 1973.
Question - is the correct part made of: 1.) textured but uncovered black plastic 2.) vinyl covered fiberglass 3.) vinyl covered fibreboard ? Porsche's PET shows 2 part numbers with it changing for MY '72 and all that followed. And I've seen the black plastic part with that later part number melt-stamped into the inside of it. Then I became confused after reading somewhere here that the plastic ones were introduced with MY '75 which contradicts Porsche's PET. So I don't know what to buy and am hoping someone will clear this up for me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) |

My interior color is black so I'd like to hear from '73 owners with black interiors. I do not need a door panel, only the pocket/support part underneath the pull-handlegrip.
Vinyl covered fibreboard OR uncovered black plastic ? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |
