Seems like the prices of used VR6 motors are coming down, I know Kennedy makes an adaptor and flywheel.
Unknown by me: are they good motors? can they be rebuilt at a resonable cost? how long are they? they look longer than a "normal" V6 due to the odd layout. are they heavy? iron block, aluminum heads (cannot find information on how much one weighs, some sites mention that a 4 equipped car is ~75 pounds lighter, but unless everything else is 100% the same, the numbers are meaningless ) |

had a 93 corrado with VR6. sold it at 65k miles a few years back (IMG:style_emoticons/default/spank.gif) and i'm still pissed about it.
lots of torque. the engine won an award in popular mechanics when it first came out. maybe you can look back to that article for more info. lots of aftermarket stuff available for it. i can't believe i sold that car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chair.gif) the good news is, my seller's remorse made my wife feel bad, so she let be buy the 914.
