One of Hollywoods greatest actors has passed away at 80 years old. He was truly one of the best. I am sure you will all mourn the loss of Marlon Brando. He made many movies that are classics now and his memory will live on in those movies for generations to come.

a great actor with some range; heck, he sang in "guys and dolls."

if you see "apocolypse now; redux" you get to see his more complete portrayal of col. kurtz. really impressive. why they cut that for the original release is beyond me.

i also noticed that author william manchester died a week or so ago. sadly, before he could finish the 3rd volume of his winston churchill biography. i would recommend reading anything by manchester.
