Anyone done this? Couldn't find any pictures showing if they will fit
without hitting the trunk wall.

I think I will have the same issue. Tall manifolds with the rain shields. I haven't got to it yet, but I'm figuring on trimming the inside of the trunk lid to make it happen. I should be doing this in the next couple of weeks so I can report back.

I have standard 914/6 manifolds and a GT engine lid. Everything fits with no issues.
