Anyone done this? Couldn't find any pictures showing if they will fit
without hitting the trunk wall.

I also have the phenolic spacers, but don't know about the paper element.

What is the name or part number of the paper air filter element? I'm not that impressed with the K&N filter elements.

Mark thank you for the post on the over the counter filter elements ! When you say you " clipped " the outer mesh screen how exactly did you do that ? Once you get the screen removal started does it just peel out or do you have to clip each pleat ?
