It seems the past week or so, when I go to click my shortcut favorites to the site, it takes a lot longer for the site to load...
Other aspects of the site seem slower, like opening pages, posting responses, etc. It does this at home and at work... Hmmmm... |

Hey,
It might be worth setting up a cron job to restart apache - say like once a week or something - a lot of the scripting languages (I'm sure PHP is no exception) will fill up with cruft. It is generally good practice to limit uptime on systems since it is very hard to QA them over very long uptimes. I have noticed the site get slower and was wondering if there might be some indexes that can be added to DB tables or something else that might win us some free speed. Just an idea. l8r, Fiid. |
