What tire size should I go for on my 16x6" fuchs?
I'm thinking either 205/55/16 or 205/50/16 would be good...any input would be great. Also, any suggestions on good tires...should I go all out w/ some S-03's or go cheaper w/ some Yoko's or Kumho's? Thanks again (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

When I bought my 1973 2.0, there was four 205/60x15 Michelin MXV tires on stock 5.5 alloy wheels.
The first think I thought was "it looks like a balloon". I also noticed a lot of road imperfections in the steering wheel. So, a friend of mine told me that the feeling of his 912 was absolutely better when he put OEM tires, 165/80x15 Michelin XZX. So I decided to reduce my tire width and increase the height to make them less directive. I choose 185/65x15 that is only 4% circumference shorter than original 165/80x15... In fact I wanted 185/70x15 but cannot find any (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) |
