Here I go again... 75 914/4 2.0 My heater blower motor (that mounts in the rear engine area next to the relay board) only has ONE output opening for a hose. I don't see in any of the PET or online places that such a motor even exists. All the ones I see have two ports for hose connections. So, am I missing parts or is this another oddity? BTW - I'm 90% certain I have a CA car. Thanks, Confused in Tampa, Len |

I'm doing this from memory. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
The very early models had two outlets on the fan 180 degrees from each other. 72 or 73 and later had one outlet. The hose ran to the drivers j tube, and the passengers was blocked off. In 75/76 there was a two way splitter that fit on the single outlet and supplied a hose to both sides. I'm not sure if all late cars came with the splitter or not. |
