I think it's a '71 1.7 4 cyl. hubcaps, ignition on right of column and shiny appearance of upholstery that only '71 had. Oh, and the covered pass. side mirror on visor ? Beautiful car. [/quote] I dont know 914 very well yet, but I saw this post and it made me think. My first 914 back in high school was a roller, that i started to rebuild but never finished and the ignition was on the left by the light switch. Does that mean it was possibly a 914-6? |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) [/quote] Damn! that makes my stomach turn, but this next bit of info will probably make a few people sick...My dad took it to the scrap yard and only got $35 for it. It was almost rust free, but it was just a tub, we even had to buy wheels and tires to get it out of the barn it was sitting in. and we used channel locks on the steering column. |
