Check out the spectator with the camera in the first few frames. Looks like about two feet of separation between him and the car. People can be unbelievably stupid at events like this.

Check out the spectator with the camera in the first few frames. Looks like about two feet of separation between him and the car. People can be unbelievably stupid at events like this. I wouldn't be surprised if that guy didn't contribute to it by sitting right on the apex. Coming up on him fast I doubt I could have avoided lifting a bit, or twitching on the line, and that's all it would have taken. |
