restoration means different things to different people.
not knowing what skills or tools you have, I will comment on cost. this thread is a must see. http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=16748 review some of the threads in this forum. http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showforum=78 and then know with complete certainty what rust you have before you buy anything. new and rebuilt parts for suspension and brakes alone can run $3000. don't under estimate cost and hours for labor. |
