Alright, are the best ways of strengthening the body of a 914? I want to weld in a role cage but I don't have a clue which kit to buy. I know the cage is a huge factor in making the body stronger. The car is at the stage now where anything is possible so please help me out, I only want to do this once.

You should buy the cage listed in the for sale thread. I had one in mine and it is great.

Van A bolt in cage doesn't stiffen the chassis nearly as much as a weld-in cage. Starting with a bolt-in cage and upgrading it to fully welded later on is a poor idea IMO. |
