I can't remember which rocker box tends to fill with oil, but jumping to the assumption that all is healthy with that valve guide/valve you could have a problem with draining oil back to the sump. I personally have experienced this on high rev'ing motors and like a few others before me have taken to increasing the breathing at the case and then blocking off the head vents. The idea is to create a low pressure zone at the case and a high pressure zone at the valve cover and "force" the oil back to the case.
