I have not been keeping up with values and I need to empty my garage.
I was talking to some sucker the other day and he thinks he wants to by my car, but I have no idea what to ask.......... 1971 1.7 Body: It has paint Chrome bumpers Western Wheels Rust Free, Dent Free Mechanical: Has not been started in 5 years Was running when I parked it, but has a burnt harness on the fire wall caused by a short at the starter Engine is an undocumented rebuild with 500 miles and a single carb I have enough parts lying around to fix what's broken, but I dont have enough time. (including a new gas tank, harness, etc....) Any guidance would be appreciated. As a side note, what is the going rate on 2.0 long block (core) with FI? Thanks. If that is THOMAS'S old car and it's rust free; I'd say $4k - 5K to a knowlegable buyer. He did a lot of upgrades and maintenance as I remember. Good luck with the sale, sorry to see to leaving the 914 World.
