914World Classifieds Rules

- Please consolidate your ads into one big lump... listings and pictures together in one thread. Please be considerate of other classified users!!
- Mark your items "SOLD" once you sell them. Please do not ask to have ads removed. Ads will automatically hide themselves after 30 days. We also ask that you leave your pricing in the ads to help others determine fair market value for future sales.

Looking for a serviceable alternator cover tin. The one I have has the bolt hole rounded. Needless to say, this made alternator removal (in car) a huge PITA.

I might have one. Be aware that there are two different alternator tins. I pulled this one which has a different offset to the center hole. I think you may have a VW bus alternator.
Maybe this one could be used but the plastic ring used with it is different. Attached thumbnail(s)

I wondered if there may be differences between engines/years, but figured someone here may educate me on that, too. Mine is off a '75 1.8L, but there is no telling what mods may have been done by POs. I have a replacement alternator, but have not yet looked to see if its different from what I removed. |
