Instalinng a new clutch. What kind of Greece do I use for the bearing and shaft?

I always use a small dab of synthetic wheel bearing grease. Just enough to work into the needles or it'll come out onto the flywheel.

The felt ring is there to prevent the grease from flowing onto the clutch. The bearing comes pre-greased, and it's not a particularly good idea to mix different types of grease. I use the Sachs grease on the shaft and splines, and it's likely that's what they put in the bearings, too. That said, I use Kendall Super Blue grease for that application.
