Just want to make sure this is possible. I have a 1.7 case that I want to make into a 2.0 ish engine. I'm hoping with 2.0 heads, cam, cranks etc... it will be plug and run into a stock 1974 2.0 FI. Any potential problems with a 1.7 case?

Looks like I have been thoroughly chastised for my stupidity. Now I will never forget again that all cases are the same. Hey, didn't all you guys know that? I will go write it 100 times on the blackboard.

But wait.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/type.gif) the internet also said that using 2.0 rods in a 1.7 case requires some clearance.... Didn't I read that ? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)
