Can anyone confirm the torque figures for the heat exchanger to head nuts? I have initial torque at 7.3 ft/lb and final torque at 24.5 ft/lb.

I've seen a thread where the guy took a long flat metal file and ran it across both pipes at the same time, where they mated to the head, to get the 2 pipes of each side's HE to be perfectly flat. the flatter key are, the less torque, I assume they'd need. I wish we had a way to view all photos ever uploaded.
