I've been offered some of these wheels. Does anyone know more about them?? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i152.photobucket.com-13736-1382719628.1.jpg) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i152.photobucket.com-13736-1382719628.2.jpg) These wheels where manufactured by a Brazilian company named Mangal. They are high quality and were offered as dealer options for 914's in the 70's. Think they stopped making them in the late '70's, as alloy wheels were becoming more mainstream. A Chinese company remade them in the 90's, with horrible results (BIG surprise there). I've had my Brazilian wheels for 40 years and love them. There are probably some still available, but stay away from that Chinese crap (and they are CRAP!). Attached image(s) ![]() |
