my fuel pump also goes on when hazard switch is not pulled but key is turned.
the circuits have got to be connected somehow??? could this be a faulty relay board? or could it be that I put a wire on the wrong spot on the fuse box? my engine is a carbed sbc v8. i'm using the 2 harness wires to power my fuel pump. thanks jim Attached image(s)

I will trace the black wire. I tried to feel clicking but could not, i'll have to get my ear up closer to relays, or pull each till I find the right one. thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
ok, I hooked up a D cell battery to some wires and my volt meter, I plugged one end into 14 pin harness #8 pin, and at fuse panel I got continuity at #9 on bottom (2 black wires, bundled) and on #9 at top (black/yellow [can't see it in pic] and 2 red/whites, bundled). the 9th fuse, a 7.5 amp, before the 20 amp. its a little confusing determining which is #9, as this fuse panel does get mounted upside down, but right side up if you laying on the floor pan with head looking up under dash. oops, forgot, need to find my flasher relay.
