QUOTE(bixs @ Jul 23 2013, 02:29 PM) *

I originally purchased the car to be a subaru conversion. After working on stripping the paint and getting to know the 914, I decided against it. I really would love to fix this up as a 914/6, but I did not quite budget for that. As most of my plans have changed, I have decided to just sell everything and move on. I would rather be driving a 914 than rebuilding one in a long term project.

I am trying to sell EVERYTHING together. I am asking $4250 for it all right now, but I'm open for offers. I justify it currently as there are many brand new parts included that are worth a lot. They have not been used, so even if you don't want to finish the body, you can use them for your other project. I would actually be willing to trade for other vehicles. I would take a 914-4 if it's drivable, something like an older MG, as new as an 1979-1984 RX-7, maybe even a motorcycle.

This includes every piece needed to build a car minus the engine. (and that's included but not complete).

1970 914 1.7L

Definitely included:
-*Brand new front floor pan from - www.restoration-design.com
-*Brand new Rear floor pan (kit) from - http://www.restoration-design.com/mm5/merc...duct_Code=KIT-H
-*Brand new Steel Fender flares from Auto Atlanta
---(I've cut away with 1 inch lip to help strip inside fender, not a final cut, fender flares are not welded on yet)
-*Brand new Fiberglass rocker panel covers for flared fenders from Auto Atlanta
-*Brand new hard brake lines cut to length for the entire car - http://www.austinhealeywood.com/brakelines.html
-*Brand new stainless steel hard fuel lines

-Sideshift Transmission with all needed hardware
-All glass (windshield has a 3 inch crack on the edge of one side)
-All body panels, doors, hood/boot lid, engine lid, targa top.
-Car did not come with bumpers, so I scavenged some painted ones for cheap that need fixing. they are included
-All rubber trim in various condition. I was meticulous about trying to remove the rubber without damaging it, but a few pieces might have been damaged.
-All metal chrome trim around windshield, and other places on body
-All lights, headlights + motors, taillights, *Brand new bulb and fuse kit from Auto Atlanta
-All wiring
-1.7L with FI, all wiring and computer. Heads separated, block, does not include some pieces such as engine fan. Includes flywheel It needs new cylinders, full rebuild. Needs head studs, they were warped. Not really placing a lot of value on this engine..

Prefer to include (included in price):
-Interior, seats are in good condition, see the pictures below. Includes all knobs, buttons, and gauges
-The dash is included, but it is cracked and note in the greatest shape. May look really good if coated in a suede/material (was my plan).
-Carpet pieces, the interior pieces are in great condition in center, ok condition around edges (frayed, stuck to rust)

Materials included:
-*Brand new POR15 gas tank restoration kit, sealer and coating etc
-*Brand new Eastwood Internal frame coating (http://www.eastwood.com/internal-frame-coating-w-spray-nozzle-qt.html)
-*Brand new Undercoating paint, alternative to por15 (http://www.masterseriescoatings.com/index/ag111/)

Included in price, but may sell separately:
-x4 16" Boxster wheels
-911 3.5" Boge front struts
-911 Control arms
-911 aluminum cross member
-Note, no rear 5-lug hubs

The car has been stripped down to metal over 95%. There is nowhere for rust to hide. Please ask for more pictures!! I'll take them on demand.

I used: http://www.masterseriescoatings.com/index/...oat-metal-prep/
"Mastercoat Metal Prep & Rust Remover etches the steel and leaves a zinc phosphate coating behind. It also neutralizes the rust, deep within the steel. The zinc phosphate coating, especially with ordinary paints, will prevent rust from forming under your new paint work. "
