I probably should have a spare set of points in the car for the eventual failure, but I probably won't. Instead, when it happens, I'll end up having the car towed home and ordering another Pertronix. I think people who have experienced immediate failure (or short lifetime duration) of electronic iginitions simply got unlucky. No company can produce a product (at a reasonable cost) without some failure rates. Companies in Georgia excluded. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) |
