Next step for me is setting up my valve train geometry. I searched the web and the World and now I have enough information to know that I need more information. I see a few references to an article Jake had on his now extinct forums. The Facebook page is pretty vast. Can someone point me to this article? I think that's my first step toward comming up with more intelegent questions.
FYI: I'm building a 2056 based on a late case. I have Jake's 9550 cam installed I have swivel feet adjusters mounted on 1.7 rockers with solid spacers I am using SS valves and chromoloy push rods I installed 8x10 rocker studs I have used .065" of shim on the cylinders with no head gasket Thanks! I just posted the whole article when I noticed his copyright statement at the end.
I could post it if it was OK with Jake. I have no idea what his policy is now that he isnt supporting his forums. |

Go ahead an post it. It doesn't matter anymore. Here's all that remains of what was "The Type 4 Store". Its all LN Engineering's headache now as we expand our engine assembly areas into this space and work toward that. I should finish the demo tomorrow and start filling the room with stainless steel benches. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net-1095-1391142760.1.jpg) I am sure some smart ass won't like something about the valve train article.
