I also did not expect to be a 914 fan. I purpose bought a 1.7 for conversion. Spent the next 2.5 years converting it, learning a lot about EVs along the way.
The 914 is a superb platform for conversion, with all of the trunk space and the big engine bay. Add in the use of the heating tubes for cables, and your system is that much safer. For those thinking of conversion, please, please, PLEASE do not convert a 2.0. Please pick a 1.7. Cheers, Peter |
