I'm trying to replace the electical portion of the ignition switch. I've got the steering wheel, lock nut, switchs, and ignition retaining plate off. I cannot however slide the ignition switch assembly out. Is there something else I am missing?
Do I have to remove the upper steering shaft? (first U-joint back) Thanks. Michael (IMG:style_emoticons/default/monkeydance.gif) 74' 914/8 |

Is that in the ignition switch itself? (ie. to remove the electrical portion from the tumbler/key portion)
Or to remove the entire assembly from the housing? Michael (IMG:style_emoticons/default/monkeydance.gif) 74' 914/8 |
