Will a six point strip out the 12 point torex bolts for the CV joints (it only takes 30 lbs....)
Or should I go buy this difficult to find torex?
Anyone got a link?

Snap On
Why f- around?
I've spent almost as much on Snap On tools as I have on parts for my restoration, but I'll have the tools for the next one, and the next one, and the next one...... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Also, Crusty is right. Buy 3/8 drive so they work in your Snap On torque wrench.
