I'm calling on my 914 brothers for their valued opinions. Please help! I'm looking to buy a 3.6 vario-ram 3.6L motor for my 914 and I was wondering what you guys think about this? The company I'm looking to buy the engine from will not provide any compression check data, they say they just won't do it. But they will provide leak down check info. This engine is pretty pricey and I was wondering if not receiving the compression check data would be a deterant for you guys in buying this engine. Thanks a ton!

Many CA suppliers provide 30 day grace periods to return a used engine. When I bought a TIV this way from EASY we had it installed and running within days, so lots of time to make sure it performed to spec. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
