I am doing a 3.2 914 conversion. I need to source a good unit with leak down numbers provided by the seller and reasonable miles. Of course I need all injection, DME, etc.

Any leads are appreciated.

Check Pelican parts 911 Classifieds and also LA Dismantlers. I've bought 2 very nice 3.2L engines for 914-6 conversions from LAD in the past 18 months.

If you don't mind me asking, how much were the LA Dismantlers engines?

A 67K engine was $9K shipped from CA to TX and a 29K engine was $9.5K shipped.

29K engine. It was like getting a new crate engine.

As with any dismantler, get the engine type, engine serial number, get pictures, get emails to backup the detail and be very clear on what you need. A compression test, leak down and visual check of the studs is a good idea.
