hi,
I have just dropped the engine so I could deal with it out of the car. change heat exchangers, push rod tube seals, stuff like that. plus whatever comes up that I will discover. I need to do some hell hole welding too. seemed like it would be a lot easier to do the repairs without the engine in place. even using a flame thrower, the cheese head screw/bolts are no fun to remove. the ones that are tin to tin are not too bad.... the ones into the case take a lot more time with the flame thrower. I am learning as I go........mostly with the help of folks here helping me. have fun with the process........ I am randal |
